How do you beat a deep blue funk?

With the crappy weather teasing us the last week (sunny and warm one day, sunny and COLD the next, and now no sun and a brisk damp chill in the air), a crappy economy, and debt up to my eyeballs, it’s hard to remember why I get out of bed in the morning (though I manage to regularly).

So, besides the obvious answers, such as:

• Trolling the internet for funny comics, photos, whatever
• Checking social media sites compulsively, like someone might even post something that will forever change your life
• Eating copious amounts of anything comforting or yummy
• Drinking copious amounts of:
• Coffee
• Whiskey
• Exercise (yeah, I know, I should do that more anyway)
• Listening to new/old music loudly!

I’m just not sure how to beat the malaise sometimes. The lack of creative energy, or the lack of energy to do most things. What are some of your favorite coping mechanisms for those “blah” days?
